2. Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong
3. Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng
4. Housing Minister Mah Bow Tan
5. Transport Minister Raymond Lim.

Introduction of 5 new political office-holders as part of the core of the PAP’s fourth-generation leadership and two spearheaded ministries straight away. 

1. Heng Swee Keat became the new Education Minister
2. Chan Chun Sing was appointed as the Acting Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports.
3. Tan Chuan-Jin became Minister of Manpower and subsequently Minister for Social and Family Development
4. Lawrence Wong became Minister for Culture, Community and Youth & Second Minister for Communications and Information
5. Ms Chu Pattern, Sim Ann is also a Minister of State for Education 

Post General Election 2015 Cabinet Reshuffle 

In his post-GE 2015 message, PM Lee said, “This election is a major step forward for our leadership renewal. Joining Heng Swee Keat, Chan Chun Sing, Lawrence Wong and Tan Chuan-Jin from the last batch are Ng Chee Meng, Ong Ye Kung, Chee Hong Tat and Amrin Amin in this round.”
